Eläinruokatehdas Lemmikki Oy has got a new owner from 1st September 2014.
A Swedish capital investing company Serendipity Innovations AB has bought Eläinruokatehdas Lemmikki Oy.
Serendipity Innovations owns already a vet medicine producer, whose innovations will be used in Lemmikki Oy’s further product development. The change in ownership will give Lemmikki new possibilities in raw material supply and also open new market areas.
Lemmikki Oy will continue activities in the present premises in Kuopio and whole personnel will continue as old employees. Eläinruokatehdas Lemmikki Oy was founded 1986 and has risen within 28 years into one of the biggest Finnish dog and bird feed manufacturers.
Company has 35 employees. Lemmikki Oy was owned before the acquisition by Teuvo Martikainen, Tapio Martikainen and Petri Hiekka-aho.
